LUCIFER season five is petitioned for by fans as they cannot wait for their next instalment of the devilish drama. While they wait though, they are continuing to binge on season four on Netflix and Tom Ellis cannot get enough of it.
Season four of Lucifer created a huge buzz amongst fans as the series dropped on Netflix for the first time.
Many hailed the season as the best ever as it returned with even more violence, nudity and general boundary-pushing.
Despite the new season dropping three week ago, it appears fans still cannot get enough of the show.
Tom Ellis, who plays Lucifer, was thrilled with the reaction and tweeted his gratitude to the fans.
He said: “You little bingers you...#Lucifer BINGE REPORT: ‘Lucifer’ Gets Cozy At No. 1.”
Naturally, fans started to reply with their praise of the show.
One fan replied: “I mean, are you really surprised?”
Another added: “No one deserves it more than you guys! Season four is brilliant.”
A third fan crowned the show: “Lucifer is the new TV-King.”
While another fan went even further: “I’ve been binging season four for three weeks and I’m still not tired of it.”
The clamour for more Lucifer has intensified further after fans launched an official petition to get a season five announced.
Meanwhile, Lucifer's showrunners have confirmed why they don’t use the F-bomb in the show, despite pushing the boundaries more since moving to Netflix.
Joe Henderson revealed to TVLine: “We tried an F-bomb, and it just felt a little weird.”
It was good that we tried it, because we sort of wanted to see how it felt.
“It’s like when you get a toy, and you start playing with it, and then you start to realise that maybe this toy, as fun as it is to play with, isn’t the right toy to play with on the show.
“Families watch our show, like older families, and while we wanted to both make a show that pushed the boundaries, we also didn’t want it to feel unnecessarily profane.
“We did say ‘s**t’ a couple times. And we used a ‘bulls**t’ when absolutely necessary, or we tried to,” he finished.
Lucifer season four is available on Netflix now.
